Governor’s Update

District Governor - Aleksei Sample-kIETRYS

Dear Carolinas District Key Club!

My name is Aleksei Sample-Kietrys, and I couldn’t be more excited and honored to serve as your 2024-2025 Carolinas Key Club District Governor!

I’m a rising Senior at Hough High School, in Cornelius, North Carolina.

I joined Key Club my Freshman year of high school to make a positive impact on my home, school, and community. At first I wasn’t sure what being a part of Key Club would mean to me, but it has ended up being one of the most impactful experiences of my life.

At the end of my Freshman year, I was elected as a Lieutenant Governor. At out 2023 District Convention, I ran for the position of District Secretary. Serving as your District Secretary was one of the best parts of my Junior year, and I cannot wait to keep working with you all as your District Governor!

I plan on ensuring that we are back to Pre-COVID level of club activity this year. Part of this is increasing our representation at District events, like Fall Rally and District Convention. I encourage all of you to look into more information about what you can do to get your club more involved.
